For Parallax, the challenge is finding the right components, documenting their origin and keeping the finished system affordable. We need suppliers who can explain where hardware is made, who produces it and what software it relies on. For small UAS and UGV projects, a U.S. workshop does not settle every component’s origin. Relevant DoD sourcing requirements reach beyond final assembly location.
NDAA sourcing requirements, DCMA's Blue UAS program and FCC equipment restrictions and exemptions each need their own review. Our goal is to develop systems that meet the requirements of their intended customers.
